The Grand-Axe particle accelerator utilizes miniaturized particle accelerators along it’s barrel to propel a large projectile at unimaginable speeds. Because of the weapons firing mechanism, a larger projectile is required to achieve the desired acceleration. As such, the payload is loaded into a cartridge in the back of the weapon, as opposed to the traditional magazine fed system.
